I think I've tried several dozen DQs around the state, most are very repeatable and decent enough usually get the Belt Buster, Sonic is also for repeatable at the dozens of locations I've been. I'm not sure if Storm's is big enough to be called a chain, but the Storm's Special has always worked well at the 3 I have visited. Another I'm not sure I'd call a chain is Bill's Burgers, Wings and Things (Burnet & Marble Falls) but this is one of my favorite burger places.

newer chains that I thought were pretty good, Mooyah (sp?), Mighty Fine, BJ's Brewhouse, Red Robin

We have a new Freddie's opening in Laramie, Wy. I'll give them a try.

It will probably be in The Woodlands.

Back in the 80s there was a place in Fort Worth called Hookers Burgers that had great burgers.

Was it Hat Creek Burger ?

Shake Shack gets my vote for best burger chain.

If ever in Amarillo stop by Cecil’s Bar & Grill for one of the most amazing Burgers. Not sure what they are doing over there but anytime we go to Amarillo it’s a must to stop.

Another vote for Freddy's, I had not even heard of them until 2 months ago. Now that we moved we have one 15 minutes away. Me and the wife have been several times, it's both our favorite now. Storms would be my #2.

You guys need to understand. In and Out is just another burger.... but everything is real and fresh.

Culver’s, Mooyah , Freddy’s, Texas Burger and Burger street..... not on every corner or convenient...so... not chain IMO

Braums is on every corner? Closest one to Houston is Dallas. grin

Brahms only has restaurants within 300 miles of the home office in Oklahoma.
