Didn't think I was jonesing too bad 'til I found myself re-sorting feeder electical connections a little while ago, for the repairs I know are coming. I'm sure I'll be pouring over Google Earth, looking for some pocket in the pasture I've overlooked until now.

You?

I've bought a lot of guns I probably don't really need.

Hog hunting keeps me satisfied when it’s not deer season.

Morning / Evening hog hunts and running the coon traps is a good time burner in the off season.

Just want it to cool down to think about it. Few years ago it was 80s in July and went out every week to do stuff. Sat in stand last weekend. Geez it was hot. Saw a doe but hogs hide until 5 am. Can't wait to fill some feeders in a week or so and put a cam out. Always talk about moving blinds but haven't in a while. I need to forgo some dove hunting and just do it. Othwewise, try to organize garage and hunting junk.

Been looking for land to purchase that we can build our next home on and that I can hunt on as well. Been looking around Grayson county. It's been fun so far......

We've been doing a little of the same. The wife wants an all one level, one story house for when we're old and decrepit. I just can't wrap my head around moving all this stuff. We also want to stay around here, close to the grandkids. Add in a few acres and we're looking for a unicorn.

There are 4 season in the year, but for a deer hunter there is only one.....mine just happens to last all year.

For sure... I've spent half my life fishing that river. Good times. Wish we'd get some rain.

Normally off season is a few trips to the ranch to check on things and fill key feeders. Otherwise work and stuff around the house to keep me busy. Now that 1/5 of our lease burned in the Connor fire in early July, I am building a few new blinds in my spare time in hope that some rains come and get some green grass sprouting. Hopefully get them set by early October, but will be a task as each one will need to be put together on site.
