How do you like it. Is it quieter than a mule or polaris. Seems like it would be better on fuel. Had a Honda Rancher 420 and it was quieter than my Kawasaki 650 and fuel economy was a lot better.

Sit in one first

I wanted to like it, but after about 3 minutes and sitting in it I seeked other. The knee and foot spacing was not right ( I’m Xxxl) and it had a ton of plastic

I’m sure the engine is great

I have a pioneer 1000 3 seater 2016. I am also a 4xl guy and love mine. More leg room the wheel tilts out of the way quieter great fuel economy. The downside is the interior heat. I have t put the correction on mine but did a redneck fix and will be wrapping the exhaust soon as well just to get it cooler for us in the cab. The 6 speed transmission is amazing too.

I have a 2014 700-4 and love it. Never a break down, no belts to change. If you regularly ride 4 people it may not be the most comfortable for the rear seat folks, but it’s not forever long either. I wouldn’t own anything different. You can never go wrong buying a Honda.

I have a new Pioneer deluxe 2018 700. Its quiet and during Turkey season we put it places a goat won't go as the country we hunt is very steep in places. It performed great. Now this is California so I don't know if Texas has this kind of country. I traded in my 06 Rhino sxs 660 which was great but doesn't compare with the Honda

Neighbor down the road has a 17 1000 3 seater.
It has it's own space in the garage and is well cared for but gets used almost daily on 240 acres.
With him and his wife riding around, he keep two bags of deer corn or feed in bed right behind seats and he said it makes it ride like a Cadillac.

After a test ride around his ranch, I can say it's one of the nicer, better thought out machines I have ever played with.
It's really fast if needed and will pull tears from your eyes at speed.
The transmission and drive train is just magic and the crossover tech from Honda cars and racing efforts shows.

It's one of the few machines on a very short list that I would consider to replace my Mule.

is the Pioneer a lot quieter than a Kawasaki mule Fx w/eps? Looking at the 3 seater mule 820cc 3 cylinder, but belt drive, price is a little less. Or a Pioneer 1000 3 seater, that is a twin, about 2000.00 more, but I like the transmission better.

There are a few of the 16's still left in NEW inventory across Texas. I've got calls in on all of them, just waiting for dealerships to want to get rid of them bad enough to lose the silly prep fee and dealer fee. Prices on the 16's are 2K+ less than advertised.

Like Charlie, I have a 2014 700-4 and absolutely love it. It's been bulletproof as far as reliability and so far a new battery is the only thing I have had to do to it. I'm 3XL and no problems getting in or out. I did put Fox Podium shocks on mine and it was an amazing improvement in ride quality.
For ranch work and hunting, it's perfect and hopefully, like most Honda engines, it will have a long life with minimal maintence.
The shorter wheel base lets me use a smaller trailer and the pop up rear seats work great when extra riders are at the ranch (grandboys).

I bet a Honda pioneer can't go where he does.

Pioneer can climb a tree too, but doesn't come with horns like Don's beast. I've been looking at 700-4 & 1000 and think 1000 would be the better choice in the long run, as you never know when you'll need the extra power.

Textron has released he Prowler Pro with what looks like a car muffler. Videos show it to be much quieter than any other non-electric choice. I would go that route if it had back seats!

I have also been thinking about getting a Honda 700. I already have a kubota 1140 that has the power and will haul 4 people. I would like something smaller and with a tighter turning radius. Plus less noisy and smoother ride. Use the Kubota for the heavy work and hauling people and the Honda for the light work. The Honda name has always been associated with a good product. What are the most miles or hours anyone has on here with theirs.

e saw a pioneer 1000 on atv trader w/8000 miles, impressive. I like the storage on the Textron, but still belt drive.

I have a 2018 700-4 Deluxe and love it. I looked at every and I mean every brand made. Having had several Polaris ATV’s and changing belts I was thrilled with the transmission in the Pioneer. It has gone everywhere I pointed it from mud here at home in Montague County to our place in Terrell county. It has plenty of room for me and the wife up front and comfortable enough in the back seats. The other thing I really like is it doesn’t turn into a giant teeter totter going through ditches and gullies and over hills. Good luck!

Leaning towards the pioneer, maybe Kawasaki, and 3rd the (Textron Stampede, because of storage, and noise level) but the last 2 are both belt drive. Don't need 4th row seating as a bean bag will suffice, also don't need a tilt bed, would like to add a pair of raised seats back there and have room under those seats to haul the game, feed, or supplies.

Well, I bought a Green 2018 Kawasaki Mule FX-PRO EPS this weekend, very impressed w/the low noise level and the extremely smooth ride. Think I will be very happy with it.
