Lay some ammo out on a table or load it in a magazine and pour water on It and shoot it wet . If you are running hot. Primers will start popping. It helps you find a load that will perform in wet weather or extreme heat. At least that's the way it was explained to me by a top PRS shooter. I tried it and it works.

Had a blast like always. Thanks to the hosts top notch folks as always. After 19 rounds I wasnt going to chance a blow up and was going to call it quits, but as always the THF steps up and Jason let me shoot his 7mm-08 in place of my rifle and I came back from dead [censored] last to take 9th place overall. So huge thanks to Jason!!! Loved the rifle and it fit me like a glove.

Good seeing everyone again as always it's a good time. Hot as hades but a good time.

Guess you're going to have to pour 44 grains on the hornady, then see what the weight is on the chargemaster, and that's your "new" load. Still sucks, but at least you got to rock a pretty sweet rifle for the 2nd half of the day.

ETA: good thing you didn't keep shooting that. You could have messed up the rifle pretty good with 100 rounds of that kind of pressure.

We're running 3 fans out there and it's 105, and Fitz pointed out that we had the rifles piled in front of the fans instead of us. Idiots...or just priorities.

Had an awesome time. Thanks to Jason & Chad for running a great match. Course of fire was really fun and had lots of variables with something for everyone.

Lol yea could have turned out really really bad. The 44.0 was hot to begin with so I was going to do a new load work up after the match anyway. This just expedited it lol.

Jason, Chad and the rest of the crew I want to thank you again for another outstanding match. I had a blast and accomplished more than I thought I would and finally conquered 800 yards. Today was awesome and I appreciate the opportunity to come see how well I can play the game.

JG again you put on a great match thanks again the you and Chad both. Really liked the light at 800 thought that was awesome. By looking at the scores looks like I need to come out more often to get some reps in.

Most impressive for me was Zane and Tony getting 6 on the hidden prairie dog. Hitting a prairie dog 6 times in 10 shots at 300 is impressive enough. Having to knock a spinner out of the way with 2-3 of those shots and then timing it out perfectly is even more impressive. I think Chad and Jason may have done even better than that, which is just silly.

The stages were awesome this year. I was really excited about shooting some of them. The prairie dog, jungle gym, KYL and TYL would've been fun. I'm glad ya'll had a good time though.
