Guys,

I'm going to be loading for Nosler 200 grain partitions and I'm curious if you guys know what powder usually performs best with them? I've read online, Nosler, that h4831 worked best but I'd like to know if you guys have any experience you wouldn't mind sharing.

Thanks,

Not sure about if it is the very best for the 300 with tht partition but I know it does work well. Quite often what Nosler lists as most accurate has worked well in my rifles, not all the time but enough to try it

Never used Partitions, but when I tried my first bullet in this rifle, the 180 Accubond, it shot so good with RL-22 at 3,175 fps. that I never looked back. RL-22 powder is temp sensitive, but never mattered in my hunting applications.

Every powder mentioned above will do fine for the 200 grain bullets. I'd lean to H1000, but 7977, 4831, R22, would all be good for that bullet. I burned a 300 WM barrel shooting 190 SMK and 208 grain A-max with R22 and H1000.
