Overpriced. Google LBV or Load Bearing Vest. Tons of lightweight options with varying degrees of storage. I use one for hog hunting and mine has everything I need. Plus it is cooler than something like a backpack.

I have used surplus web gear since the 1970's. A web belt, suspenders, 2 fanny packs, one on the belt, the other on the suspenders, 2 canteens and some ammo pouches for miscellaneous stuff. During bird season I would carry the web belt, a canteen, a fanny pack for the downed birds, and 1 or 2 ammo pouches. The "stuff" listed is similar and still available from surplus stores. The above stuff looks to be similar to today's military web gear, I suggest looking for a surplus store and configuring your own.

I think the gun lock up design is cool. But can’t get over the price. Would rather buy a decent quality bag

Not looking to get one, just thought it was interesting. The interesting feature is ability to hold gun and quickly release, but I don’t need. I am looking for a small day pack hunting bag but haven’t decided what I want. 8 like the new kuiu day bag

I'll get a Load Bearing Vest before deer season. Since going to a shoulder holster, and before that a binocular harness I have figured out that getting the weight of things close to your body and off your hips makes for a better day. I'll put my phone, camera, glasses, knife and a few rounds of ammo in it. I'll wear it under a light jacket or heavy coat. My pant pockets won't be heavy, and I won't have to load up to move these things to a different coat if I switch during the day. These things stay in the vest, same pocket all the time.

One I made. Made to fit, .22, .45, .44 mag.

It's kinda cool. The shoulder straps look more comfortable than any LBE/LBV, etc I was ever issued. I much prefer carry stuff high up on my chest, but it makes shooting prone a bit sketchy.

How do you get any of this out of your back pack, without taking your gun off your shoulder, finding a place to lean your gun, removing back pack and digging through it? Been there, done it, found it to be inconvenient, noisy, cumbersome....The LBV puts everything in a separate pocket right in front of you for easy access. I'm getting one.

I put mine on after I put on my pack.
