That's awesome. I haven't seen a horned toad in 40 years. They're gone from S.E. Texas.

Even out here in Tarrant County, land of the TCU Horned Frogs, you don't see them anymore.

We have been here in Dove Creek for about a month now and have seen 3 in the back pasture at different times. One was a juvenile and the others full grown, it is neat to see them again. I too grew up playing with them and had not seen one in 20+ years.

Lots of them out around Big Spring and Midland. Have to dodge them on the roads. Something I don’t see very often anymore is tarantulas. Used to dodge them too.
