That's awesome. I haven't seen a horned toad in 40 years. They're gone from S.E. Texas.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

Great video. I am still hoping to see on here again someday. I have tons of ants but a lot of thick ground cover.

That's awesome. I haven't seen a horned toad in 40 years. They're gone from S.E. Texas. Even out here in Tarrant County, land of the TCU Horned Frogs, you don't see them anymore.

We have been here in Dove Creek for about a month now and have seen 3 in the back pasture at different times. One was a juvenile and the others full grown, it is neat to see them again. I too grew up playing with them and had not seen one in 20+ years.

I've got at least 3 regulars here at the house, each one has it's own ant bed staked out.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I've got at least 3 regulars here at the house, each one has it's own ant bed staked out. Lots of them out around Big Spring and Midland. Have to dodge them on the roads. Something I don’t see very often anymore is tarantulas. Used to dodge them too.
