We are leaving tomorrow to spend the rest of the week on the Riverwalk but don't really want to visit all those tourists spots. The wife and I will be in a conference until about 4 each day and would really like to find some place different.

Any suggestions?

There's a few good restaurants around the Pearl Brewery which is a few minutes from downtown. If you want good Korean food, try Seoul Garden 2456 Harry Wurbach, 78209 Rd close to Ft Sam Houston. If you want to travel a bit from downtown you can try Jerusalem Grill (Greek, Middle Eastern, Persian food) at 9210 Wurzbach Rd, 78240. Didn't realize till now theres a second location, original is across town.

If you like Pizza, Dough Pizzeria opened up a location downtown. I have not at at that location, but the one North of town on 410 is really good. I have never been impressed with that Mexican food they have down there.
