My pointer had a droopy tail for a couple days. It seems to be straightening back up. What causes this, injury to tail?

I never did know what caused it. We always called it Limber Tail. They always came out of it in a couple of weeks.

Here's a good read on it. https://wagwalking.com/condition/limber-tail-syndrome

A friend's chessie that i hunt with often gets what I call "limp tail"

Happens at least once a season.

I had a lab once that got it.

Just rest and typically resolves on its own.

It seems to be ok now. Maybe injured from bouncing of walls of kennel. Was pretty ugly. She was pointing deer on outside of privacy fence, tail was at 9:00 6 “ from base. When pointing wild birds it’s a 1:00 tail

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.
