We don't serve pintos, but when we serve them in catering, they're thick like ranch beans.

It's a sweet slaw that we zing up with some black pepper, celery seed, celery salt. We also chop our slaw a little finer, much like an Asian chop salad.

Maybe in the future, but I have limited holding capacity, and baked beans are more requested than pintos.

We made it last Saturday. It is everything it is made up to be, including cutting brisket with a plastic fork!

We got the family special with brisket, sausage and chicken. And yes, the cream corn with green chile and the green beans. We just loved it. I even had some this evening with supper tonight.

I was told I just missed Tritonman, he must have sensed I was coming. That's OK, the ladies up front took good care of us. I got to say this too - my wife asked if the slaw was good, and the answer was immediate and a bold "YES, it is excellent" and it WAS. The front desk knows what they are talking about and didn't feed us a line like , "well, Ive never tried it before so I don't know".

To me this is the BBQ bar of Texas.

PS, Brian, my wife wants the recipes to the side dishes. I already told her that you want to feed the competition, not help them. But she asked twice, so in light of doing my household duty, here is my official plea...

Yeah, ask him for his rub recipe while you’re at it. It’s like getting mom’s pecan pie recipe. Everybody in the family has a different recipe, and they all came from mom. She almost took her pecan pie to her grave.
