Inherited this Winchester xtr featherweight. Front sling stud looks like this and is loose. I canít get it to come out or screw back in flush though. Just spins one way and doesnít go deep enough the other. Thanks

Take the stock off and reseat that nut from the inside. Epoxy it in. Look over uncle mikes instructions.

PO probably took it apart to refinish and forgot how it goes back together.

Well my grandpa owned It from new and I can promise you heís never taken It apart or refinished It. Iím thinking It got yanked out.
