bang...we went to Canada last year on our 10k mile trip....Texas plates got our vehicle/us a two+ hour search at International Falls, MN.....and a lot of stupid questions....

They were looking for guns since I told them we took them out of the vehicle when our passports came in....I guess they didn't believe me....should have put an Obama sticker on the back window....probably would have just waved us thru.... rolleyes

Thanks y'all for taking a look! The bike is pretty much a standard BMW R1200GS Adventure and it can do with gusto, what no other bike is capable of - 300 mile range, cruise all day down the highway at 100+, dirt, mud, off road...

Once again, AWESOME pics, story and motorcycle!! I follow you on Facebook and had neck surgery on June 15. At the end of every day while you were on your trip, I would really be looking forward to your pics and what you had to say. And you answered all my dumb questions, lol. I appreciated that! If I ever get rid of my Triumph, I'll definitely check out those BMW's.

Mmmm Hmmm

THANK YOU for following along! Glad I could lift you up a little during your recovery. It was a pleasure to answer your well thought questions - thanks again.

A fair amount of the adventure was cold, wet, snow, ice and plenty of mud. The misery made it worthwhile but its something you get to skip and just enjoy the pics. Glad you appreciated the photography - thank you very much.
