I know West is best. The lack of rain may have hurt some areas. If you could pick where would you hunt?

Never any dove around the Abilene area....don't bother. But seriously, even on bad years the dove hunting around here is very very good.

Any reports from the Graford area? Or is it to early?
Maybe I should say any thoughts or predictions on the Graford area for dove season this year?

I don’t worry about bird numbers, I go out west no matter what I will have a good time.

What ever field I am NOT in. Drought in East Texas wiped out my sunflowers.

Texas dove hunting for hanging w buddies and typically a good/great hunt here and there. My places in NTx produce about 1/3 of time. West is typically better. We have a great ring neck / Eurasian hole 30 minutes north of Dallas
I go to South America to shoot dove. There’s nothing like it if it’s in your budget I would highly recommend it There’s about a dozen of us that go every year- We were talking about doing a waterfowl hunt in December and maybe going to Bolivia in September for dove
By the way, August 30 is too far out to make a call on bird numbers. Do you get a front push through every single bird can be gone
