ive seriously gotten to where i prefer it hot over cold tho i dont complain either way...just warmed up some Herdez and poured it over a half dozen pork tamales and damn they were good! Whats yalls preference or do you even have one? What store bought salsa do you use if you dont make homemade? cant do anything Pace taste to artificial for me. Herdez taste like homemade to me.

Our go to Tex-Mex place serves it warm and I like it that way. However, dependent upon the style of sauce dictates whether it served warm or cold. Now at Taqueria Arandas, their green sauce is better cold than warm.

Run. Don't walk to your nearest HEB and get this. I gave up making my own after getting my first jar. It has fresh jalapeños in there that taste like pickled jalapeños. As for warm or cold, I generally have mine warm in the dishes I cook like this. And in my breakfast taco each morning. Cold in guacamole.

Not trying to be ugly, but that breakfast taco looks like it is addicted to meth.

I refuse to go to a restaurant that serves it warm.

Depends on the salsa and the application. I like warm breakfast salsas and ranchero sauces. I like cold green and red salsas for guac and dipping.

Not trying to be ugly, but that breakfast taco looks like it is addicted to meth. You fold it over to eat it.

I have yet to meet a warm salsa that I liked. Bring me cold salsa or nothing at all.

depends on the type ... but won't fuss over either way if the salsa is good. I much prefer my wife's homemade but have found a few store bought that weren't too bad, "On The Border" - Medium is pretty good for jarred. I have tried several of the HEB branded salsas that were decent too, some I think they used battery acid instead of vinegar though.

Cold or room temp. Only few places I remember warm it like Ojeda's.
Mateo's is good but I have moved on. Been around in Dallas a long time. Made in Frisco. I have bought a lot of Julios lately. I can't find the Freakin Hot Chips though. They dissappeared. Tostitos Chipotle Salsa is pretty darn good for a big brand.

Im with bill, I like the heb a lot. I enjoy the amount of tomato in it.
To me all salsa should be cold I have yet to find one that is warm that I really enjoy. I also think that most people think more of their homemade salsa than the rest of the world, maybe not, but that has been my experience. I would take pico de galla over most salsa any day.
