Beautiful sunsets and sunrise are worth the effort. I have a ton of pics of them also.

On most deep water rigs no, but on this one yes we can. The managers are the coolest I've ever worked for on this one, just don't do anything stupid LOL. We catch mainly sharks and tuna here, with occasional mahi. up Had a tournament recently and a boat pulled an 800 or so lb marlin off of us. Always cool to watch the show....

That’s awesome. You must not work for one of the majors. Anything that even has a 1% chance of resulting in a safety incident they Nix.

Actually I do work for one of the majors, which is why I was really surprised we could fish. Hopefully nobody screws it up for them.

I bet you do. Some of the best ones I've ever seen I couldn't get a picture of. Can't have your phone on deck (normally). Be busy working on something early morning or in the evening, look up and whoh...that's a good one lol. Wish I could get a pic of that! smirk

I bet some of the best ones are when the sunsets when on the water. I have always seen the best ones when hunting and few when taking an evening ride around a ranch. If have a camera, I am getting a pic or two or 100 grin

Good gosh, that's like a payday bonus. Excellent photograph.
