Looking for a place I can pheasant and quail hunt an hour or two from Dallas. I have my own dog so I'm not looking for a place that is guide only. Let me know your suggestions, thanks!

Upland Bird Country near Corsicana , Grey Stone Castle, Ildina's in Santa Anna, and there is another one near Lake fork, cant remember the name. These are preserves (pen raised) NOT wild birds. For wild birds you will have to go west near Throcktmorton, Google Texas quail hunting guides, be prepared to pay large.
