I saved some brisket trimming pieces last year and put it in a pot of chilli and it was great.

I like my brisket nice and juicy.

Something different I came up with one day, brisket biscuits. Homemade biscuits, onions/pickles/little Rudy's. Good stuff.

we hit walmart once in awhile but NEVER buy our beef there its not quality at all i dont care who they get to stamp it

We have 2 in San Marcos, but I buy my meat at the new super HEB in New Braunfels. Much better selection.

This was oven cooked at 300 degs for 5 hours then I covered the brisket with bacon and cooked at 425 for 40 minutes and then took foil cover off and did another 25 minutes . Turned out great !!

We will drive an hour to HEB to by meat.....

I just pulled a big one from the deep freeze. It’ll be smoked over hickory chips inside a coffee rub this weekend.
