Some blue crabs..  Not winning any awards for presentation, but it was pretty good.   I like mine thick and juicy, no comp bbq here.

Carnitas.   Keep them big, shred them. Doesn't matter as long as it tastes good. I do both depending on mood. 12 lbs disappeared before I could taste.

I've cut back to 3/4 lb burgers, with onions/garlic & love. Put these on the smoker, been a while since I've done that and no I don't put any binding agents or any such nonsense in my meat.  Smoked boudin and a big burger. Couple beers and adios...

A little discada. Don't let the dark on the chicken fool you. When it all goes back in together that flavor will change your attitude.  Beef, pork, chicken, bacon, chorizo, smoked sausage, shrimp, potatoes, peppers....just throw it in there and try not to fall over before it's done....

Achiote chipotle chicken tenders, if you've never tried them you need to...they are freakin' good.  It will change your life. Can get achiote powder or paste, I prefer the paste cut with vinegar and add a little chipotle powder. Not hot, all flavor.  Tenders are a perfect size for fresh toasted corn tortillas.  A whole new level of chicken taco. Made these tonight with bacon & caramelized onion.

Two of the four reasons I cook meals. My oldest daughter graduates HS tomorrow. Time isn't flying, it flew.  Pastor tacos, nothing like them.....  Thanks for looking..

Wow thats a whole lot of great looking groceries, gained 5.lbs just looking at it  Beautiful daughters and congrats on the HS graduation  My daughter graduated real early (11/08/17) but she will walk across the stage tomorrow with her class, time flies by.
