93% lean meat, Egg, bread crumbs, A1, garlic powder and black pepper.
Med rare. Bbq sauce and jalapeno on the burger. BBQ sauce is one of those things I can't get on board with when it comes to burgers. I have tried it a few times and to me it doesn't feel right.

Kosher salt, pepper and Snyders Prime Rib seasoning. Used to be a fan of Montreal Seasoning but Snyders is our go to now for steaks and burgers. I also lightly grill a thick slice of onion for each burger and put it on the top of the burger after flipping them over. We try not to pack our burgers as we find they get tougher and prefer to shape the burgers with a a couple of forks. Cook on the Traeger ((425*) with either Mesquite or Hickory and they are tender, juicy and have great flavor. We serve on Crustini buns and offer a complement of toppings.
The Weber and Traeger will be hard at work this Memorial Day weekend. Pigsicles (ribs), smoked Wild Turkey breasts and a Brisket with some Venison Sausage are the plan. Adult beverages will be served!

Tex-Joy steak seasoning the night before. I also do the old Lipton Onion Soup mix thing every now and then.

Here is the trick boys and girls:
1) 90% lean cook on cast iron skillet. 2) lighty break apart the hamburger meat with your fingers, where you end up with crumbled hamburger meat. Freshly ground is best, and tell butcher “do not smash it”. Keep it fluffy 3) season with salt and pepper, lightly mix and toss with your finger. 4) lightly pack patties. Just enough to keep pattie together is the secret.
It is a mistake to mash the hamburger meat.

One lb 85%-15%. Take a piece of frozen bacon from your freezer and cut it into the smallest pieces possible with a really sharp knife. Mix the chopped bacon with your beef, make two patties. Cook, eat, repeat next week.
The bacon cooks completely down, adds moisture and great flavor.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Try mixing some of either the Fiesta taco or the Fiesta fajita seasoning mix in your hamburger patties. Everybody will be surprised after that first bite.
