except for this one. My 83 year old dad had to have one. After a couple of times out with it, he brought it back with a new assignment for me, put a scope on it. Ordered the Henry mount, a member made him a great deal on the perfect size scope for this .22 Mag Henry Golden Boy. He'll put one in the ear of a hog and probably put it up for my grandson, his great.

I'll shoot this one today. These are hard to find on the shelf, easily ordered.

I handled one at the NRA exhibit and man the action is like butter. I want one.

That justifies an email to Henry Repeating Arms.

I do like pretty rifles. In fact, I've never seen a pretty rifle that I didn't want to buy.

They’re already making one in .308 it doesn’t seem like that far of a leap. Except the world would shun it for not being a long range rifle and blame Henry because their lever action isn’t a long range target gun.

Those are dang nice rifles by the way. Almost bought an octagon 45 Colt until I picked it up and it weighed somewhere around 700 pounds.

Kinda windy today, didn't want to wrestle this .22 mag and wanted a true wind age zero so went to an indoor range. Left it about 1" low today at 25 yds. First time shooting a Henry. Fun to shoot. Dad'll be happy.

I'm a big fan of Henry rifles. I have the basic Henry .22 LR lever gun and it is easily the highest quality .22 rifle I have. I'm planning to replace my Marlin 30-30 with a Henry.

My Henry 30-30 has a slightly longer length of pull than my Marlin due to the factory recoil pad. Not and issue but it does make it shoulder a little differently than the Marlin and my Winchester Model 94 that came with solid buttplates.

What I do like about the Henry is the tube magazine that makes it much easier to load and remove shells without having to repeatedly cycle the action. However, the factory trigger on the Henry needed work to reduce it from what felt like 10 pounds. I'm sure it wasn't that bad but all my other rifles are set no higher than 2-1/2 to 3 pounds.
