I possibly have a young female Brittany available to a “local” (within a few hours of Houston) Family on a co-own arrangement. This girl is white and orange, house trained, smaller sized and super sweet. I would retain breeding rights (pending health clearances pass), and finish her in the show ring (at my expense). She could also make a nice companion hunting dog and/or hunt test dog. With this arrangement, the dog would belong to the family and you’d be responsible for everyday care and expenses. I would just ask to take her to occasional shows to gain her AKC championship, and breed a litter or two from her, again pending health clearances all pass. The show and breeding expenses would be on me.

If you’d be interested in more information please email me at Jenvyshowdogs@live.com. I have similar arrangements with other co owned dogs and can provide references, more details etc.

Thanks so much!
Rose

It’ll be their dog, but yes I’ll show her and retain breeding rights. The family can raise and care for the litter if they want, with my help and guidance of course. Or I can whelp and raise the litter.

This is an arrangement I feel is a win/win, as the dog gets their own family and attention versus being in a kennel environment, the family gets a wonderful dog, and I can advance my breeding program without having to keep a kennel. It has also helped get families involved in competitions and even breeding with their dogs as well, which we can all agree we need more of!

The person co-owning the dog should get a percentage of money puppy sales. That's how every co-owning I've ever seen works, including one I have right now. I will never do it again. I got this bitch in my divorce. Love her, but I would not do this with a hunting dog EVER.

I am very open and willing to work with the family regarding breeding expenses and puppy fees.
