Almost out of deer burger, I haven't bought burger in years... but am going to have to this year.
I really do not want to eat burger that comes out of a tube and am on a health kick so elk/and bison are what I'm looking at.

Does anybody order bison or elk online or buy it locally in dfw.

Central market has bison burger for 9.99 lb anybody order it cheaper?

If you are going to spend $10/lb anyway, I would think about doing one of those axis doe meat hunts for under $500 instead, and have the whole deer turned into burger.

Not a bad Idea at all actually on the doe or cow hunt. I grind my own deer anyways.

That way your can get your grinding and some backstrap and tender loins as well. Try buying elk or axis tenders and backstrap and see what it costs.
