The great thing about helping out landowners is when they help you out and let you know when they are having issues with hogs. Unfortunately, the specific timing is often limited to "sometime last night." We had a couple calls in from landowners and Dave and I got after the hogs. On the first night, we didn't see any hogs on the properties where landowners had recent issues. On the 2nd night, we encountered hogs on one of those properties, but not until well into the morning.

Both nights were wet and muddy nights with rain having preceded both hunts. Sometimes the nastiest of conditions makes for some of the best hunting...

Yeah, being a hog in Montague County looks like a tough existence.
That lucky hog in video two should have gone out and bought a lottery ticket!
