Worst steak ever, you need a new pic Bill

We have seen that one atleast 94 times

Deep fried brussel sprouts are good, but you need more than one.

Pappas is my favorite in DFW and I've been to a bunch of them.

Atmosphere was nice. It was crowded, so not a quiet place. Waiter talked me into ny strip, wish I stuck to filet. Wife’s filet was great. Strip not as soft as he explained but still very good

Had 3 Blanton old fashions. They were great. I did prefer it to 3 forks.

Only complaint was parking. I don’t valet because I usually keep my glock 43 locked in glove box. It was tough to find a spot to park and it was all coned off.

You prefer the drinks or steaks to 3 forks

you shouldn't be concealing a weapon if Yo drinking Blanton's

slippery slope, need a new thread.

I love a good Old Fashion and all the other ORIGIONAL cocktails.

Not into wood smoked glasses, infused syrups, all that "craft cocktail" crap.

That wouldn’t stop me from valeting - at a nice place like that especially.

Glad you enjoyed it. I like it too - at or near the top on my steak place list.

I hear ya. I prefer the old school drinks that showcase the spirits, I gotta say another of the best drinks I’ve ever had was at Stampede 66. A prickly pear cactus margarita made tableside with liquid nitrogen to freeze everything, then topped with candied jalapeño slivers. I’ll man up with a gentleman’s drink but DANG that was amazing right there! I’m glad my wife urged me to try it.

I’ve only been a couple times. The first time was paid for by the company so I got the filet and it was amazing. 2nd time I didn’t know that’s where we were going for a cousin’s “bachelor party meal” until the van pulled into the parking lot. I had to order the salmon that time (cheapest thing)after getting 2 old fashions. Ha!

We were in the back and it was loud. That’d have to be my only complaint about that place. I bet they make a killing though since it’s always packed

An Old Fashioned is pretty much as “old school” as they come. It was one of Sinatra’s favorites.

You hit on something though. I like a good Old Fashioned with bourbon fine, but that drink was originally created for rye whiskey - the sugar was to cut the harshness of the rye. Truthfully, a good bourbon is not supposed to need any tricking up.
