Oh MAN! That looks so good.
I mounted a trellis on the side of my garage last year and planted Dewberries. Right now they look about a week away from getting ripe. Can't wait.

Put the ice cream inside a cantalope half and top it with the cobbler, then we'll talk. Kidding, looks great!

Haven't had dewberries since I was little in the 60's. Used find them in the ditches around our house. Ate a whole lot of them.

Did you make your own crust? Did you sprinkle sugar over it?

used to scour the roadsides of the back county roads picking dewberries, took home to mom for various dishes. We probably ate as many as we took home though.

I have a bunch of vines around my house of wild dewberries but very seldom get any of the fruit off of them. When my daughter was still at home, she would go out and pick a big coffee can full several times during the season.

Lots of memories of dewberries and mustang grapes. oh gawd!!! my uncle told my brother and I to go pick a bucked of mustang grapes down at the corner of his sheep pen, we ate probably more than we brought back to his house. That's when he told us that we were in trouble ... not for eating them but for not being careful on HOW to eat them ... our faces were blistered from our nose to our chin. Makes great jelly though.

The Dewberries here did not produce this year. Last year I had a lot of them after the timely rains.
