Buzz did you read the article to the end? It seemed to me that guy doing the review said as nice as he possibly could he didn’t like the rifle at all. The trigger was defective, the stock grip was near unusable. Idk

Definitely an interesting rifle but Remington is going to have to work to overcome their recent reputation. As popular as chassis rifles have become, I do think it was a pretty good move to develop one.

that's why I said getting better, they need to fix the small BS

they will never have another "good" trigger. They should cut a deal with one of the trigger makers to include a certificate for a replacement.

I would like to see one of these on the shelf. Talk about a perfect deer blind gun.

3/4 rifle
Needs a trigger (SHOCKER!)
Needs a grip change

$1k plus $150 trigger, plus $50 grip, now it's $1200.

Or find a donor action, barrel, chassis, trigger, gunsmith, and do what's been done for years. And it's a comfortable, 1/2 MOA rifle.

Looks like taking the worst of both to me - too small for a rifle and too big for a pistol.

A bolt action pistol is one awkward sumbitch. I had one back in the day, way back, it’s what got me hooked on big caliber handguns. Trying to work the action, mine was a left and bolt and not a 40x action, meant doing gymnastics to get the bolt to fully lift. You gain nothing with a bolt action pistol.

I do love my 460XVR, for hunting or plinking. But it’s a traditional revolver and much easier to handle.

Never messed with a bolt pistol, but TC Contenders/Encores are pretty awesome. Short, handy, and accurate.

I like the older Remington bolt action hand guns built on the M600 action. They were single shots with the grip below the action and balanced quite well

I found this recently. XP100R in 35 Remington built on a model 7 action. Need to scope it up and get to work.

The Howa chasis gun and RPR are both under $1k and get great reviews.

But I am glad to see someone getting good accuracy from this Remington with factory ammo. It would be better for all of us if they got their performance, prices, and quality competitive again.
