Well, I got a new scope to test and put it on a different gun from which I have been testing the Federal Speer TNT 90 gr. ammo. This one has a 22" Liberty barrel and the TNT was flying out of it at 2920 fps, which isn't too bad! I spooked the cattle and the cattle basically encroached on the hogs and so the hogs left the field and headed down into the sticks. I had hopes they would circle around to another part of the field (field is "L" shaped) but they just kept going so I took a longer shot than anticipated, but it all worked out.
