Oklahoma just passed constitutional carry!

The Oklahoma House of Representatives on Wednesday passed what has been dubbed as the ‘Constitutional Carry’ gun bill in a 59-28 vote.

The bill would allow all law-abiding Oklahomans to carry a loaded, concealed handgun without a permit, permitting handgun owners in the state to carry their weapon in most public places. However, some areas where firearms are already prohibited by law -- such as the ones listed here -- are still exempt.

Not law yet, Governor has not signed it. I found it interesting that open carry is not mentioned in the artical, infarct they specify Concealed carry. I thought that at least the majority of Constitutional carry states had open carry.

Thank You
Robert

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, right or wrong - is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.

the text of the bill is found here

briefly, it references 'a person' not 'an Oklahoma citizen', so I presume if you can legally carry it applies whether you live in OK or not. Foreigners excluded.

I don't see it. Texas has become too liberal.
