My family owns 240 acres in Young County. We deer and dove hunt mostly. I would shoot a turkey in the spring given an opportunity, but I am not mad enough at them to go sit under a tree and try to kill one. We currently have 5 corn feeders and 2 protein feeders running year round, along with 4 double box blinds and 3 bow blinds.

I told you all that to ask this....Would there be a market for a lease that would run from the end of deer season until the start of dove season? Including: quail, turkey, pigs and varmints. I think I am looking for someone to go in on an all inclusive lease, I don't think I want to try and do 1 lease for quail, 1 for turkey, etc. I do have 1 RV spot with hookups available. We are mainly looking to cover our taxes and feed bill, obviously not looking to get rich. I would prefer no more than 2 people on the place at a time, but that can be negotiated given the circumstances.

This would be for the 2019 spring and summer. Exact details would need to be finalized, I am just seeing if there is any interest. Thanks!!!

How many coveys of Quail did you see this year on the place? I live in Young county and haven’t seen any, I’m close to Graham.

I think it can be done, agree you just want one leasee for the time period described. I'd be interested if you go this route

Not very many, only a couple. Last year we were covered up. I don't expect a "quail" hunter to take something like this, seeing that he wouldn't have access until the end of January, he's missing a good portion of the season.

Just call it a pig, varmint and turkey lease. My buddy on our place only hunts those but pays same as us deer hunters since we don't break it out.

I wouldn't mess with quail in the description.
