I wish i could be there as the NRA is the essential supporter of our basic right to post on this site, to protect our families, to ensure that over zealous government agencies can never trample on our FREEDOMS. I for one find the NRA to be one of the most important organizations in our society regardless if they are not perfect. They are preventing the elimination of one of our most important rights and I am so grateful for their existence!!!!!

We spent a couple hours in the expo this morning. The only reason we went was to support the event and their numbers......I hate crowds....this one was worth it. flag

This was a great convention and everyone was extremely happy and upbeat. I was in the hall from 8 AM Friday until closing, 9 AM until closing on Saturday and 9:30 AM until 11:30 PM on Sunday. I did not see 15 protesters in the three days. The crowd on Saturday was HUGE, no way for me to estimate the numbers but the NRA was expecting 80,000 over the event.
Of all the shows that I have attended, the NRA Convention is consistently the best one. Great exhibits, extremely well organized and most of all the best folks in the world are walking the floors.
I believe the show will be held in Indianapolis next year and then back in Texas at Houston.
Thanks to all of you who came by Ruger and visited!
Adios,
Gary

I rode the red line train down to the convention and it was filled with other attendees (standing room only) and one obvious protester. He tucked away his sign so it couldn't be easily seen and he put on headphones to avoid talking to anyone. He was literally surrounded by attendees including an elderly life member who sat next to him. When he got off the train several of them called out "have a great day". Not sure if he noticed.

This was my first convention and it was a hoot. Loved seeing the booths for EMF, Pietta, Ruger, Cimarron, Dixie Gun Works, and Thompson/Center.

Spent Sunday in the show. Very well laid out and lots of nice folks. Saw on the NRA FB page that over 87,000 attended - a new record for them. I did pick up my stickers to cover the logo of 'the cooler that doesn't support the 2A'.

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.
