Hi gang,
Are any of you familiar with this suppressor? Or this company "BOTACH"?

Hi Bob -

I submitted my Form 4 paperwork last week for my Helix IFM6 purchased through Botch.

Ordered 2/24

Credit Card charges 3/9

Shipped and recieved at my FFL 3/29

My thoughts when looking over the silencer at my FFL -

It’s long and heavy

Not a slim profile/contour

Probably going to notice having it on any barrel but you’ll want a medium to heavy barrel for sure

The STS muzzle brake was a little rough looking (lots of burrs internally) looks like they used dull tooling on mine.

I have yet to shoot it, here are the best ads/videos I’ve seen on it while I wait for the ATF to clear

NOTE: minute mark 18:22 - they demonstrate the self tightening design of the brake (to which the suppressor attaches) in my opinion this is a huge advantage to the design!!!

Price is right, I spent an additional 300.00 on tax stamp/transfer fee/ trust/fingerprints/photos

So realistically this is a $ 700.00 acquisition

I would recommend you consider the Thunder Beast Ultra with a adjustable gas block if your rifle doesn't have one.

Color me impressed...

I took the rifle- a 308 AR 16” barrel mid length gas - to the range and fired a string of 4 shots with and without the OSS Helix STS comp which is the attaching mechanism for the suppressor body.

Shooting a 16” 308 with full power loads isn’t my cup of tea but for the sake of knowing whether it makes any difference to point of impact I had to do it.

Left target is without the muzzle brake and right side is with, the outlier was the last shot in that string of 4 and yes I got got jumpy thinking I was about to stack 4 shots on top of each other , guess I don’t have to worry about explaining that - I pulled it.

Quite a difference - I’m amazed at what a difference barrel harmonics makes when switching or adding muzzle brakes and I’m pleased that my rifle likes this one !

Crazy good deal, so mad I missed it! Others have liked theirs, was a topic on one of the NFA forums.
