What activity are you seeing out there? Are you using decoys? And what time are you seeing them/shooting them?

Wind made early season a bit difficult and didn't see much either. Looks like weather has been a bit more favorable recently, and looks to stay that way through the Weekend. Hoping that changes my luck. Going to call mornings off the roost, run and gun throughout the day. Going to hope persistence will pay off this year.

Owl hoots before dawn to locate the birds, then setup near roost with a hen decoy. Calling just to get their attention. After that, run and gun. We're not hunting over feeders. This can be a strenuous way to hunt but so rewarding.
