I hunt with a Dan Quillian longbow. My nephew is looking to buy a longbow now. Dan is no longer with us so anybody have names for some good bowyers they can share?

No custom or specific Bowyer but I do enjoy shooting a Bear Montana bow

Tom Kelley, Kelley bows in Ft. Collins, Co. 970-221-1518.
Have a custom takedown made with spalted maple. Fast, smooth, no hand shock. Shoots carbon as well as wood. Stabilized risers.

Predator Longbows out of Muenster , Tx. Robert Lutkenhaus make a great longbow, we both shoot his bows. Might take a cooler with you and stop in at Fischer's or Hess Meats for some outstanding sausage while up to shoot or look at his bows.

There are a couple over on TBH classifieds now. The Sarrell's Blue Ridge is a great one.

Give Randy Madden a call at Primaltech. He makes great bows that are quiet and easy to shoot and tune. 903-452-0229 https://primaltechbows.com/

I just remembered I have a DQ longbow. How old is your nephew? 44# at 28", 68 " bow. Says DQ 205
I have had it at least 25 years and it has not been shot or strung in quite a while.
PM me if you have any interest.
