Killed 6 pretty quick. Then ranger crapped out dashboard started flashing, fan quit working, and spitting and sputtering like it was out of fuel. All happened at same time . Anybody got any ideas where to start looking? Seems like short somewhere, but everything at fuse box was in tact, including relays. Any help appreciated. It was about 5 mile walk back to truck.........

Don't know anything about Polaris but it does sound like an electrical problem. The machine probably (??) has an electric fuel pump which, if correct, would explain the sputtering. I'd start by checking connections to the battery and alternator. Check battery voltage first and see if it's low. That would indicate a charging problem (bad alternator or connections).

Sorry I can't offer real help.

Figured out problem with ranger. Apparently it fairly common. It’s a $500 repair at the shop, or $8 at local auto parts store. There’s another relay buried under the seat along the frame. For some reason they go out regular . Easy fix if you you know what your looking for
