I've had plenty of frankenfeeders before that you keep replacing part after part on. We actually built our own tripod feeders back in the early 90's that had some lessons learned on them. Nowadays, I firmly believe in the buy it once and regret it once mentality.

For the money, there is no better feeder than Ryan's winch up feeders that I've seen from the short amount of time I've had it. I picked a couple of them up last weekend and they are high quality, come with everything you need, and well thought out in their design.

Before anyone asks, he didn't ask me to post this -- I gave him a call after I left the lease to tell him how happy I already was with them. I've got guys out there wanting to pick up a couple more up when they scrap some coin together.

Thanks again Ryan!
