This is Cookie, my HOA female. I really miss her. She was the best bird dog most people had ever seen. I took her up to my lease in Choncho county with six other bird dogs, before her first birthday. We pointed 17 total coveys. Cookie pointed 14 of them. She was the fastest dog in all of NSTRA. She won the regional championship trial at two.

Here are some of my favorites

Picture of Buck, probably best all around dog I ever owned out of Elhew Damascus (late 90s)

Pic of Rex, guard rail/fiddler breeding, gentle giant. Incredible nose

Pic of my 11 year old in her prime (Sadie, also out of Damascus)

2 Year old Belle, Rocky Star Andy, Wild Agin breeding

That Damascus always threw some ugly pups.

Damn, I love this one! It’s a shame they can’t stay 5 forever.

She’s beautiful! Did you get any pups out of her?

scale - I never bred Sadie. She placed in her first couple of NSTRA trials I ran her in, and then she got sick on a Kansas pheasant hunting trip when she had first turned three, wouldnt hold down food, and she got diagnosed that her esophagus had enlarged and stopped working - so had to feed her dog food soup in a dog high chair I made for two months. She got pneumonia twice and finally the specialty vet in Addison figured out she had a rare form of Addisons disease (has to take Prednisone every day). Never felt comfortable breeding her after that. She is the sweetest smartest dog I have ever owned, going to hurt when she moves on to doggie heaven, I will tell you that.

This was the last point of the season back in February. The Big Boy had them nailed at high noon.
