I’m going to load up some 25 06 ammo and wanted to see what powders you guys have been getting the best results with. I have 115gn Noslers and will be shooting out of a 22” barrel. Probably around 3000 fps for white tails, exotics, pigs, etc... I believe slower burning powders are best but love to hear from guys hat have loaded some
I should probably just bug some from Chad, lol.

IMR, AA or H versions of 4831 and 4350 work well in most. H1000, IMR7977, 7828 (either one), R19 (temp sensitive though), R22 (temp sensitive), R26 I'm sure there are others that will work. I used IMR4831 for years until I had to start chasing the lands in one, now I'm using IMR7977 and getting 3175 fps w/ the 110 Accubonds.

The 25-06 has multiple powders that will work well with it. Anything in the 4350 to 4831 burn rate, and even the H1000 area will work well for good speeds and accuracy. Your 7977 will also work well.

49.0 of IMR4350 pushes 115gr NBTs or 117gr SGKs out at 3050 FPS out of my 22" barrel.
