Just had a woman visitor - my wifes friend - over for a visit. Recently she has seen a Leopard and a black Panther. Swears that she has. I tried to explain that we are neither in an area or continent where a Leopard might be found, but she wasnt having any of that nonsense, having seen one. Said it wasnt a tiger cause it had spots and not stripes.
So...you folks be cautious when you walk in or near wooded areas. A Leopard might get you, if the black Panther doesnt.
Not my monkeys, not my circus...

Are you sure she didn't say she'd seen a "Leupold" ?

Pretty safe bet to make fun of someone that has not seen one but two creatures not in the area. I have an old friend that has seen it all chupa to Bigfoot.

I am continually amazed by the number of people who have seen black panthers, often more times than they have seen regular ole tawny mountain lions. I know people that have seen black panthers on multiple occasions in different locations. Now we have a lady that has seen BOTH recently. Apparently like the others I have spoken with, she is just as convinced of their reality.
Tide Pods, condom snorting, black panthers, leopards, sasquatch...I really do wonder how the human race ever made it this far.

Ive seen a few of these nefarious critters over my lifetime in Texas and other Southern States. I even know the Jagurundi is in Bexar County. Its like belief in God, for the believer no proof is necessary, for the unbelievers proof is not possible.
One thing I know for sure...If you sit on the couch or behind a desk, you wont see anything.

Friend of mine saw a young mountain lion last year, running down the bar ditch near his house. It was young and he could see spots under its fur. Looked like a jaguar to him. We concluded a juvenile M L.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
