Looks like we got a good little front coming through south Texas this weekend. What does this usually do to turkey activity? Dropping from a high of 93 low of 68 to high of 71 and low of 50 in a 24 hour period. TIA

I would be more concerned with the barometric pressure and whether its cloudy or not. At the worst, it might quiet the toms down a bit. They will still be out and moving, just may not be as vocal. Watch for the silent tom to slip in.

Do they not like cloudy days? Totally green on turkeys.

Cloudy days with a weather front tends to quiet the toms. They still move and roam looking for viable hens as usual, just usually not as vocal. There are always exceptions.

Good luck, you're soon to be afflicted with the disease, and there is only one cure.

That's exactly what my woman is afraid of. She knows how much I love talking to those specklebellies all season!

You need to be in position as soon as the front passes and the rain eases up cause everything in the woods will stir.
