First off let me say I know nothing of reloading. I have thought about it before but never went past the thought phase. So to my questions. I got all this stuff today, for free, I just stumbled across an add on TGT advertising free powder and primers. And I got this pile of stuff. I have 1000 lead, 3000 primers, and 19 lbs of powder. Is there enough saving here to make it worth it to buy a basic set up? As of my Google searching I'm seeing about a 700-1000$ value here on different sites. Also I don't have anything in 308, can I use any of this to reload for 7.62x54r or 30-30? That's the only .30 caliber rifles I have. Also what do I have Here? Good stuff, junk, treasure? Thanks in advance

Not treasure. Pure junk. I'll PM a disposal address.

Wow - what a find!!! If you don't want to reload, you can sell/trade for a bunch of factory ammo.

The 4064 will work with 762/54r and the 30/30 . I found quite a few load for them.
You have some good stuff but you may not use all of it.

Would I be able to use the lead for the 7.62x54r or just primers and powder?

If there's a question of suitability for your purposes, there's always the option of swapping some or all of that stuff. You might even find a swap for a press and some scales, for starters. Don't swap the books, keep them and read them.

Yep, a good score. Need you a press, a scale, brass trimer, and some 30-06 dies and a dial caliper now.

Ok.. checked that this wasn't posted on 1 APR... Like them releasing 100 kangaroo in Wyoming, or the plant in Norway that can be used to make gunpowder.. Dude, you scored!
