Just got these two old timers:

Savage model 1920 in 300 Savage. 24" barrel. Someone in the past cut the stock down to just under 13" then put a slip-on pad on it. That after refinishing it (poorly, in my opinion). Somewhere in time, someone replaced the rear action screw with their own home made fix. Otherwise, all original. This one is up for sale now on GB.

The second one is one of my Bucket List guns - Newton 1st model made in 1916 or so. 256 Newton caliber. Came with Weaver bases and rings and a Leupy M8-4x duplex scope. The scope is up for sale now.

Wonder if Chad has dies for this one? wink

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.
