My son, one other 4-H youth and my self spent the weekend in Lubbock TX.
Both the boys earned there Hunter Ed asst instructor certification (not official until their 15th birthdays both in June) and we all got our 4-H Hunting Coach Certification. This certification allows us to conduct live fire exercises on the range, hunting competition, and in actual hunts. This certification covers rifle, shotgun, archery (including crossbow) and Muzzle Loader, but for hunting purposes only.
I was able to also earn my full muzzle loader coach Certification, I already had my full Rifle and Pistol Coach Certifications.
This was a long hard weekend, but very fun and rewarding.
