Got in a new Pulsar Digisight Ultra N335 digital night vision scope to T&E. Pretty nifty scope if you don't want to go the thermal route. It is like a cross between the old style Digisights and the Pulsar Trail thermal scopes. It has the same basic housing and controls as the Trail, along with a lot of very similar firmware. The Trail's firmware was based on the Apex thermal scope. So the firmware design is now well tested in terms of ergonomics and works well. Zeroed the scope and went hunting. What was quickly evident was that the scope's low light capability is a HUGE improvement over the old Digisights. I could not directly compare it with traditional generations of NV because I haven't used any in a while, but I would say it is more along the lines of Gen II than Gen I like the old Digisights. You will need an IR Illuminator which it comes with and is good well beyond 100 yards. The illuminator ties directly into the scope and runs off of the rechargeable battery, so that is nice. Anyway, for a first hunt, I got to shoot hogs from 70 to 110 yards. Once the clouds moved out, I could have hunted any of the hogs without the illuminator, but chose to do so because of the extra clarity and safety. No problem making very good shots at reasonable distances. The first hog was a lone sow. She was my 3rd or 4th to kill. I think she was pregnant or maybe had just farrowed. I did not necropsy her, but that is usually the time when they are apt to be alone, just prior to birthing or just after, the piglets left in a nest. The second was a boar taken out of a group of 4 hogs. He wasn't the largest, but was the one farthest from the cattle. The last hog was a larger boar that came into the field apparently while I was dragging the first sow out of the other end. I spotted him as I was searching for the second hog to drive over and collect. Instead, I stalked down to take him.

Wow !
Double Naught Spy does digital hunting too , that had to be a fun challenge to get the body to obey the mind’s adjustment between the two different technologies...
Same result - dead (headshot) hogs
Go figure , a true testament to your skill and tenacity

Good work.... Not a bad little $1,300 retail option.

Nice. I've been a fan of Pulsar for some time.
I still average 63 pigs a year with a N750A DigiSight.

Nice video and review. Why would anyone buy a ATN x-sight when they could buy one of these instead?
