Weather should be perfect the next few days. Lots of gobbling going on.

Weather yesterday was as good as you can get for Texas turkey hunting. Sunshine, cool, and light breeze. You're lucky to get 2 days like that each season. Gobblers were very cooperative!

Darn wind is rough. Should get better as weather improves. Already had hunters with success. Hens on the nests will keep gobblers looking for love.

The wind made it extremely tough last weekend - saw a couple toms entertaining some hens but no real strutting. My feeling is it still early for this season - not all the hens are nested up yet. I think that is about to change, and the weather is looking great next Week. Get out there if you can!
