My group heads up to Clayton NM area in 5-6 weeks.
I am loading for my new Savage Model 25 in .204 Ruger now, plus I'll take my trusty .223 bull barrel.
Last year I only took 200 rounds and came close to running out, that won't happen again!

I have a trip booked to Las Vegas NM in June. Went last year and had a great time. Great hunt for kids, brought my son (9) last year, and will be bringing back my daughter (12) and him again.

I just found out that one of my clients in West Texas has what he calls “ thousands” of prairie dogs that he wants me to come shoot whenever I want to. I’m going to take him up on it in about a month.

I found out years ago that what a farmer calls a lot of prairie dogs is not always what a shooter calls a lot

Man, it's been a few years since I've been able to go shoot pdogs. Have a pair of Savage Model 12's in 22-250 and a pair of Savage Model 12's in .223 that I use just for pdogs.

My wife and I head to Wyoming the last part of this month for 3 days of PD hunting. First time in that area, outfitter said we would get 250-350 shots each per day. 6000 acres of private land to hunt.
