Anyone have any familiarity with this rifle??

Looking to setup a lighter weight 308 or a 6.5 Creedmoor for Coyote, Pig, etc. with my night scope on top.
Don’t need precision, only consistency out to 300yards. Most shots will be inside 200.

Cabela's has the TC Compass in both calibers on sale for $325 and TC has a $75 rebate. So... $250 ain’t bad.

I have read some decent reciews with with 1-1.5 groups at 200. All depends on the ammo. The only complaints are about the adjustable trigger. Some folks have problems getting it adjusted below 4 - 5 lbs.

Thoughts?

I have no knowledge at all butvthe thread above covers a bit. There’s also at least one other thread on them that was in the hunting section.

There’s another. Hopefully some one will come along with some first hand knowledge.

I replaced the trigger spring on mine. It took my trigger to about 3 pounds. Easy job to do. You might search on utube before they shut down gun related videos. That's where I found the spring and instructions.
Yes, very nice gun for the money.

Got one last fall and really like it. Just ordered a new trigger spring to lighten up the trigger. Can’t beat it for the price.

Do y’all remember where you got the spring? Link or something.

Took it out Sat. and I like it. The trigger is a little heavier that I would like but still shoots fine.
