I can imagine it gets fairly violent around there the week or two prior to the rut. Lots of dominant bucks strutting their stuff. Would love to see some of the "after" pics.

It does and tempers flare in all age classes. I took these pics during the first week of Dec. and after the snow. Notice the main frame 5x5 with fork G2's has a broken brow and blood on his right G2. I had seen this buck 2 days before about a mile north of this blind. The other multi-pointed buck I has 5 or more broken points. I had seen him about 5 weeks earlier a mile or more south of this blind. In late October he already had those broken points and they were fresh breaks on the browtines. By mid Jan it was hard to find a middle-age or older buck without at least one broken point.

My favorite is the 3rd buck in the 2nd group of pics with the young 6x6 in the first group of pics a close second.
