Here's some pics from the last few days.
We got a western ribbon snake and a big red-eared slider turtle in the Sulphur River, and saw a beaver building a dam while we were fishing the creek where he caught a 30+ pound carp. We got some really cool video of the beaver at close range. We also spotted the yearling cottonmouth at the creek. It was still covered in mud from its winter brumation.
Yesterday he picked up a handful of lined snakes around grandma's yard.
