The wife and I will be visiting Lake Corpus Christie State Park for a week soon.
What are some good places to eat in the area?
Also my wife likes to take little road trips from whichever park we visit. Any suggestions for things to visit when we are in the area?

If you can catch the corpus Christi Hooks for a aa baseball game. Great park, Whataburger Field.

Scuttlebutts on Corpus Christie island has some of the best oysters and seafood also live entertainment.

Nothing much at all around the lake. Going to have to head into corpus for much of anything, and their isn't anything incredible there. Lots of people like Railroad seafood in Odem. I've been once and didn't care for it. It's very similar to Kings Inn on Baffin.
