I have gotten several dogs from Dan, and also traded a dog with him that was a horseback dog that my dad couldn't keep up with, and my dads dog he got on trade was the best pointer pheasant dog I have ever hunted over. He is a solid guy, a good trainer, and knows what he is doing with his breeding program. That video on his puppy page is of my pup when she was 10 mos old. I knew him back when he was in the business world and breeding as a side business, solid guy back then in the mid 90s from a business dealings perspective as well. From what I have seen, Rock Star Andy crossing with his various matrons seem to be throwing off fast starting, smart pups.

PM me if you have any specific questions.

Have owned one and hunted over one that Dan bred and impressed with both.
